“EAST HARTFORD - With nearly every gravesite in the town’s five graveyards filled or reserved, plans to expand the Silver Lane Cemetery should be coming not a moment too soon.”The development is really overdue,” said town Cemeteries Supervisor Frank Cipolla, adding that Silver Lane is now the only cemetery in town with more than just a couple of available gravesites. “Right now, the four other cemeteries are pretty much filled up.
Hillside Cemetery, the town’s main cemetery, is completely filled and reserved, and Silver Lane already is close to capacity, Cipolla said.”
