The fancy in Fancy Feast

Fancy Feast is now making appetizers for cats. Because cats need appetizers.

Judging from pictures on the website, there seems to be no actual difference between cat “appetizers” and cat “food,” other than the use of the word “appetizer.” But maybe your cat will stop giving you the snotty stare that telegraphs, “you know what you look like to me with your good bag and your cheap shoes and your rushing to the main course? You look like a rube.”

Your relationship will be more like, “Let’s catch up over apps and then figure out what we’re having for dinner.” Because you have hours available to feed and chat up the cat in addition to the hours you already spend reassuring him that he’s a special boy.

I did not know

I just walked into the bathroom and caught my cat trying to drink out of the toilet. He got scared. I was surprised. In the long run, I think our relationship will be much stronger because of it.
